Encountered some confusion with room reservations—not a deal-breaker, but a hassle. The absence of a pool might disappoint families looking for that feature, though they provide a pass for the nearby hotel's pool.

Candlewood in Springfield has a sweet picnic area, perfect for noshing on those traditional bread bites you grab from nearby Cracker Barrel or Ruby Tuesday. The staff were true rockstars, hooking me up with an early check-in pre-convention. Plus, the neighborhood has solid dining spots like Wings Etc and Houlihan's, there's no shortage of good eats nearby!
